Information security is becoming an increasingly important aspect of information technology and has been identified as one of the strategic priorities globally to meet demands of law enforcement, national and state governments, and defense, security and finance industries.
With the advent of Internet of Things (IOT), both the public and private sectors are faced with new types of threats, new vulnerabilities, and hacking techniques and agents. The cyber security program will provide graduates with state-of-the-art skills to develop secure computers and computer networks, to ensure that the data stored and transmitted through them is protected from unauthorised access or to combat digital security threats and hazards.
