Master of Supply Chain Management 

Prestigious and Accredited Degree : Upon completion of the program, all students will get a Master’s degree from University of Wollongong Australia, a university in the top 1% of the world universities, accord to QS World University rankings. This degree is fully accredited in the UAE by Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

  • Theme 1: Foundations of Business in the Information Age
    This incorporates subjects related to modern managerial accounting, marketing, organizational behaviour and operations management.
  • Theme 2: Supply Chain Essentials for Industry 4.0
    This incorporates subjects covering strategic procurement, strategic spend analysis, managing large-scale projects, total quality management, and business excellence which form the nuts and bolts of supply chain management.
  • Theme 3: Future of Supply Chain Management: Using Big Data and AnalyticsThis incorporates subjects covering the application of data science and analytics technologies in the area of supply chain management, logistics systems, warehousing technologies, smart mobility as well as other advanced and emerging concepts in this area. Technological advances in the area of supply chain like blockchain and big data technologies form an integral part of this theme.
  • Theme 4: Industry-based practicum
    This is an industry-based project where students will work on a real-life business scenario and develop or analyse a supply chain solution in a live or a stimulated environment.

CIPS : The program is accredited by the UK’s Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). UOWD students will receive free CIPS student membership and upon successful completion of their degree along with evidence of 3 years relevant work experience they may apply for MCIPS membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

CILT : The program is accredited by the UK’s Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). Students will have the option to join as a Student Member of CILT, providing them with a plethora of benefits contributing to personal and professional development in order to advance into more senior leadership roles. The accreditation will also serve as a pathway to CILT Chartered Membership status.

You must complete 9 subjects to graduate: 1 fundamental, 4 core , 3 electives, and a final project.

You can complete your Master’s degree in 12, 15, 18 or 21 Months depending on:

  1. The number of subjects you choose to take per trimester,
  2. The number of trimesters, you choose to study per year.

There are many possible combinations between subjects and trimesters. Some examples are listed in the Tuition Fees section below.

  • Bachelor’s degree: Regular Entry: 3.0 GPA and above
  • Probation Entry: 2.5 to 2.99 (Probation means you will have to get an average of 55% in the 1st 3 subjects of your master’s degree)
  • GFC: Less than 2.5 (students are required to take 3 General Foundation Classes during 1 month and cost 2900 MAD each)
  • IBT 79 – or IELTS 6.0 (5.5 might be considered if GPA is 3.0)

 

NOTE: Graduates who studied their Bachelor’s in English are exempted from the TOEFL and IELTS

Total Tuition Fee Including a 20% Bursary: $ 18,468 (each trimester is paid seperatly).

Visa, Insurance, Residency & Security Deposit (the university refunds you back $ 700 once you find a job, or finish your master’s) : $ 2,242.
